After the Fall of the Berlin wall, the word “revolution” seemed to go out of fashion.
Within a few months, with the Arab spring, the Indignados movement, and continuing with Occupy Wall Street, it all came back into fashion hotly.
What do these revolutions have in common? What did it all mean for those who took part in these movements, and for those who observed them? What has changed compared to the 70′s movements?
The “Il Contesto” journal is collecting stories and thoughts. We are looking for the contribution of anyone willing to share his or her experience of political involvement. as a member of a movement or as an observer. We accept writings of all kinds and of any lenght.
